Dr. Anna Roschewitz

Co-Managing Director and Co-Founder

Dr. ETH, Dipl. Ing. Agr. CAU, Leadership and Project Management Training. Many years of experience in administrative management in top management and in applied research and consulting (ETH, WSL, PSI). Portfolio management and project management (Energy and Climate, Energy City Gold, Smart City, 2000-Watt Society, sustainable mobility, sector coupling).

Anna Roschewitz studied agricultural sciences, specializing in economics and social sciences, at the Christian-Albrechts-University of Kiel and then worked as a research assistant and project manager at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich under Prof. Bernard Lehmann at the Institute of Agricultural Economics, where she received her doctorate in 1998 with a dissertation on the monetary value of the cultural landscape. From 2000-2007, she was co-head and deputy head of the newly founded Department of Economics at the Swiss Federal Institute for Forest, Snow and Landscape Research, where she worked with Dr. Priska Baur on strategic, financial and personnel matters, including research in the field of empirical socio-economic environmental assessment and regional economic issues. As Head of the Department of Environmental and Health Protection of the City of Winterthur 2007-2013, Anna Roschewitz positioned Winterthur as a 2000-Watt-Society, Energy City Gold and Climate Alliance City. In addition, she represented the city’s interests in various environmental and energy commissions with cross-sectional tasks and participated in numerous committees on urban development, mobility and spatial planning. As project manager, she was responsible for the Energy Concept 2050, an Interreg project on the 2000-watt society and, within the framework of the trinational DACH cooperation between Germany, Austria and Switzerland, the project “Smart City Winterthur”. From 2014 to May 2017 she was Managing Director of novatlantis, the sustainability platform in the ETH Domain. Privately, Anna Roschewitz has lived with her family in Winterthur since the early 1990s. Her hobbies include yoga, reading and work & leisure in the private forest.

 

 

Regina Flury

Co-Managing Director and Co-Founder

Dipl. Ing. Agr. ETH, Spatial Planner NDS ETH, CAS ETH Spatial Information Systems. Many years of administrative experience at cantonal and municipal level, partly in a management function (environment, urban development, spatial planning, Energy City, indicator systems as well as spatial analysis methods (GIS), web technologies, online surveys).

Regina Flury von Arx studied agronomy, specializing in plant cultivation, at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich. After a year of postgraduate studies at Kansas State University, Manhatten, she worked from 1989-1992 as a research assistant at the Swiss Farmers’ Union in the International Relations Department, focusing on GATT and EEA negotiations.

After training as a spatial planner at NDS ETH, she moved to the Coordination Office for Environmental Protection of the Construction, Transport and Energy Directorate of the Canton of Berne. In this function she worked on issues relating to tourism, agriculture and material extraction. In 1999 she became Head of the Environmental Office of the city of Olten and was responsible for the areas of Energy City, energy consulting, mobility, combustion control, nature and environmental education. From 2011 to 2014 she was part of the urban development staff department headed by Eva Gerber and implemented projects for the participation and activation of the neighbourhood population within the framework of the “projet urbain – Entwicklung Olten Ost”. From March 2015 to May 2017 she worked as a project manager at novatlantis, the sustainability platform within the ETH Domain.

Regina Flury von Arx lives with her family in Olten. Her hobbies include botany, ornithology, cooking and culture.
