The ingredients are a community producing its own energy, bidirectional electric vehicles in car sharing and an intelligent regulation and tariff system: the integrated energy management is ready. That sounds simple – but is not until everything works, not only technically but also organizationally.
New solutions for smart mobility
Much has been written and lectured about integrated energy management and V2X (Vehicle to Everything). For the first time in Switzerland, integrated energy management (i.e. the connection of buildings, energy and electric mobility) has been implemented in the form of e-car sharing by an interdisciplinary project team led by novatlantis at the Erlenmatt Ost site in Basel. The first interim report on the three-year research project is available in 2019, providing an overview of the work, successes and also obstacles to this forward-looking implementation. All those who want to know more will find the compact overview with many illustrations here (in German).
Anyone who would like to benefit from our Basel experience and also implement the integrated energy management on a site, a neighborhood or a larger residential and commercial development should contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
